As an urban farmer for over 15 years and as the Owner of "Sprouted Wealth ," an Organic, pre-heirloom, wild, indigenous seed company and plant nursery, my goal is to provide high quality seed stock and plant diversity to the general public during a time when mass production and over production of limited crop varieties have negatively impacted our soils landscape, as well as our general environment and overall human health. Combine this with the fact that most seeds now are either hybrid or even worse; genetically modified and you begin to understand how this affects physical health even down to the DNA levels. My goal is multi-faceted because it's not only to provide quality seed stock but also teach gardening and the sciences behind it, as well as seed saving skills and how these seeds can even be used creatively and spiritually. I will also be creating spaces for sustainable community building and entrepreneurship.
